Doing my introduction here since pictures is all that matters  Wink
My name is Henrik and I´m from Stockholm, Sweden (yeah sorry about my bad english).
Keeping 2.2 hortulanus (ofc cbb) "european style" together. About keeping them together: I see the issues, but since its the only snakes I own I keep a tight eye on them and got another setup ready if needed (read: male fighting e t c ). Keeping them with alot of room to move has some advantages, they really use the space at night.

Other than discussion about keeping these animal I´d like to thank you guys for this friendly forum and radio shows but most of all; The ATB registry. I hope and think that the introduction of the registry will be what makes hortulanus to go from "poor mans snake" to the acknowledgement this specie is worth.

My setup: Top right elevated waterbowl, middle right one of three elevated hideboxes (two plastic boxes put in each other with drilled holes in the upper one to make a "double botttom" to keep the humidy at top all day. Just put the probe in and you got perfect temp and humidity (even in winterdry sweden) when combined with an automatic rain system. Alot of fake plants, real wood and "garden net".

One of my male "spurring" the above female

And a bit more interacting

Gonna add some more pics of the other pair in a while.

And beautiful snakes, too!

I agree with you about the registry - I think it will help propel Amazons to where they should be - high on the pedestal of desirable herps, lol!
