Hi guys,
I don't think I ever did that before on another forum, but it needs to be said.
I am overly surprised on the positive exchanges I read on this forum.
Everybody (up until now) seems nice, polite and happy to be here.
There are no kingpins floding the forum with there repetitive 'look at me I'm the best' posts.
Members seems educated, open-minded and ready to exchange information instead of simply and quickly judging what they read.
I know I haven't been here a long time, but I like what I see and I really wish everyone will keep it up, this place is very pleasant.
I feel very confortable posting about any subject here and don't feel that there are things we can't talk about, this is farely rare on forums.
Rene

I remeber getting back into herps and reading beardeddragon.com (org I dont remeber) their postings and smashing newbies.... brutal, and I had been scared off from posting there, after reading their responces to some of the questions.
This place rocks

Agreed,I've been on so many forums where the "veterans" all seem to get irritated because someone new to a species asks a care question and/or a noob doesn't appreciate being told that their "pet store" set up and husbandry isn't what's required. Its absolutely wonderful to be a part of a forum where everyone, noobs and veterans, are polite, respectful, and are 100% willing to help or learn. This forum is a big part of why I'm up to six ammies already and I for one feel lucky to be a member:)

Nice to know we are partly responsible for addictions, lol!
Yes, this place is developing into exactly what I had hoped it would be - a place for all of us addicts to support our habit, haha! I see a real community beginning to take shape, similar to what I have enjoyed in the con snake community for many years. But with the added benefit of the ATB radio hour, I think this community can gel together even more quickly than the "corny" people did.
Hats off to EVERYONE here for making it such a comfy space to hang out in!

Ah, yes I know this site to well!! beardeddragon.org!! The motto there should be "If you don't do it my way..Than I will bash you, instead of give you proper advice!!"

You're right. You don't get members like this in other places. I've been here for a few months now and I have to say the attitudes won't change.

Your right, and one thing that makes the folks here stand out among the rest is in the few months I've been here I have yet to see anyone treated like they asked a dumb question. I can't even recall a topic getting heated, even over something that's usually a "touchy subject".

I have to agree that this is one of, if not the best internet community I've ever been a part of. I've been involved in a few other herp forums as well as multiple motorcycle, bicycle and knife forums and this place just rocks. Everyone is helpful, civilized and patient and it really has the community/family feel to it. Good job to all members and especially to Danny, Kathy and Mike for creating and cultivating such a great place to hang out at!

Yes, this was exactly why I entered this forum. I was never in one before. I never felt like. Here, I feel good. Perhaps the snappier the pets the nicer the people. Three cheers for the happy tackers!!! Renate

A-A is definitely my favorite forum, and not only because I'm an avid ATB lover, but because everyone is very helpful and all the members are a joy to talk to. Keep it up, everyone!

I agree I am on a lot of forums but I don't like to post on them because you never know who will respond and what will be said. Here I feel I can say what I want and not be attacked. Maybe it's true the snappier the animals the nicer the people.
